I'm almost done with the candle holders and am having fun. Once I had the fire design element done, I laid it over the glass that I thought would be cool and they looked horrible together. ACK what now? So I grabbed some clear, painted it with a thick layer of blue and aqua paint and fired it. With the brush strokes and all it came out looking really cool and watery. I'm happy with it, it's in the kiln now with the fire pattern fusing to it.

In the meantime I'm very excited about a new bowl mold that I just got. It has such a beautiful contemporary look and feel. I can't wait to slump my first bowl into it. Pictures will come but give me a week or two

Glass never gets boring, there's always a new direction to go in, there's color, there's texture, shapes, patterns. Inspiration is everywhere, what fun!
