New job going great
Well I've been on the new job just over a week now. It's been great!!! Theyr'e not over working us and they're so appreciative of all we do. I did injure my co-worker Rachel. We were rearranging the office and I took off half her toenail while moving a desk. She still shares and office with me and is still my friend. I've felt awful about it. Today was her birthday and I made her a cake. I'm also in the middle of making her a cake platter. I'm really excited about the platter because it is a 12" and there are no bubble bumps in the glass. I finally have a good firing schedule to fire larger sheets of glass without getting bubble bumps. Now I love bubbles, but not in a plate where it's really just an ugly bump.
The platter is in the kiln now for the slumping. It's a black base, with a cream circle (1/4" border of black) then on the cream is a fun design in primary colors. I think she'll like it.

What is your firing schedule for not getting "bubble bumps?" I've tried a few things, but still get small bubbles.
Thanks,
Christine
