I hope to see some friends there, it's always nice to have friendly faces to chat with. My friend Deb did some beautiful goddess pendants that will be on display also. All pieces at the show are for sale.

If you can't make the opening the exhibit is open weekends until Oct 28th

They're a wonderful organization with fun shows and events. I keep planing to get more involved but have just been too busy.

I just entered a juried show with a magical theme. Wish me luck in being accepted

I entered the following pieces;

Dumbledore's Pensieve, painted in runes, the memories are painted in a white gold paint containing precious metals

The next piece is called Water Spirits, it's aqua iridized glass with dichroic glass, I wanted bubbles and a very aquatic look to this piece. Love the color

Last the Scrying bowl, the inside is polished black glass, the outside swirling iridized black glass sitting in a metal stand so you can see the bottom.

The theme of this show was just too fun to pass up, now lets hope I get in. I'll be posting my progress

I love how this bowl came out, it was commissioned by a client that wanted something in cobalt blue and artsy. It's about 12" round, the irid is carved into to create clear chanels of glass to create interesting reflections under the bowl.
