Light In Motion juried show
I recently entered a juried show with the theme Light in Motion, this piece was accepted. I was really excited to get a piece accepted as there was a fair amount of competition. 16 pieces were accepted out of 79 entered. This piece is called Water, it represents how the light plays off of the surface of water as it ripples. The piece has an inclusion of sand from the Great Sand Dunes of Colorado embedded between the layers. The surface has a spiral relief pattern which is topped with crushed dichroic glass to really grab the light.
